It makes a loud click when light turns on and off
Would Not RecommendI'm not sure why the neutral is required but it is, the switch is just SPST. It is hard or impossible to adjust the duration of how long the light remains on, the sensitivity of motion and the light intensity. It should not come on in the daylight.

Simple, solid motion detection switch
I love this thing for super simple motion detection lights. I use it in closets and bathrooms. All the features you want and none that you don’t. Plenty of install options (with or without neutral). Set it and forget it simplicity and I don’t have to think about flipping these witches on or off ever again. If someone who isn’t used to them visits, the button still works.
