Works just the way it's supposed to

I needed this motion sensor switch for a long hallway from the garage to the kitchen. The light switch is not within reach when coming in the door from the driveway, and at night that is an issue since that spot is very dark. Good quality - does what is expected

I really like this unit. As easy to install as any other. It's easy to program for your specific needs and it is simply wonderful to have the light turn on when you enter the room.

We gave this located in the laundry rooom which is one of the busiest Roma’s in the house and my wife loves it without turning in and off the switch.

Word of Advice

Installed 2 of these switches and they work as advertised. Why the 3 stars? The switches have 5-6" wires to connect to power supply instead of allowing direct connection like a regular switch. Why does this make a difference? I was putting one switch in a 4 gang box and if you have ever worked with a 4 gang box you know it is very crowded. So with the 4 wires from this switch I had to cram 20 or so inches of wire plus 4 wire nuts (wire nuts are always a pain in a crowded box) into the box. ...

Motion

Hired electrician to install and still took over an hour because the instructions were not very good. Electrician finally called manufacture for help and was told they had many calls advising installation instructions were poor. We had to set on test mode as no other option for light to remain on except for 5 minutes or more. Glad I didn’t tackle this job myself.

Automatic light

We had a switch behind a door, so you had to feel to find the light switch when dark. Now all we have to do is open the door and wall-a we have light. The instructions were poor for installation. Good think we have electrician for a neighbor.

Challenging install for 3-way by Novice

The package says "15-minute install". But that must be for a Journeyman Electrician and a single-pole install. This old novice took about 3-hours to get my 3-way working - BUT it's doing well now. I can walk into the garage from my kitchen, and the garage lights come on quickly. Not only do you replace and rewire the wall switch where you want the Occupancy Sensing functionality, but you must also modify the other switch in the 3-way circuit. Excellent Grage Light Motion Sensor

Well made - solid 5 Amp switching capacity. Works perfectly. Does not turn on the light when the door goes up in the daytime. Works flawlessly at night. A wave of the arm turns on the light if the doors are down. Using it with 260W deformable LED Lamp fixtures.

Installation instructions poor

Installation instructions not very good for three way switch. You Tube video was a savior. Switch terminals not marked, no wiring schematic. Good product that works great once it’s wired up correctly.

Does the job

We have this in our 2 switch, 1 light laundry room the connects our garage to the living area. It’s nice to have light “hands free” when carrying groceries in or laundry and your arms are full. Just be aware, it’s about a 60 second shut off, can be adjusted to longer, however not shorter, so may be a bit long for some people. There is a more expensive one that has a shorter shut off. It does come on, as soon as we step into the room. Works great for our needs.

Finally a 3 way switch that works!!!

This was the third switch I attempted to install. This provided great install instructions for a 3 way (two switches in different locations that control a light or lights). It is also great because it figures out which traveler is which. All you have to do it tag or remember the wire ON THE BLACK TERMINAL (the common or neutral) on both switches and follow the very clear instructions. Other than having to figure out my wiring scheme I installed it and it is working great. The instructions was helpful but did not cover all electrical wiring probabilities but I don't mind.
