As NOT an electrician, this was easy to install thanks to the helpful video from Lutron. Took maybe 10 mins and the effect is timeless. I installed this in my kitchen. It's small to medium sized and the lights can seem pretty bright late night or early morning, but not any more now that I can control that. Install is easy, but it's a bit overpriced and the dimming switch is finicky.

Excellent Quality

Lutron dimmers are excellent quality; however, a little pricey. I have been installing this exact dimmer for many years and will continue to do so.

Love the Color, Cannot Match to a Faceplate

I love Lutron LED dimming switches as they feature good adjustment, have a very positive feel, and do NOT require a neutral (white) wire for operation. I will be using this switch with a gray faceplate, as I could not find the slate anywhere, even among the Lutron selections. I don't mind the darker switch with the lighter faceplate, but would have preferred a match.

Works Well and Stylish

One desirable feature that this dimming switch has that is not emphasized is that it requires no neutral wire. Much construction has only the live (black) wire in the switch box, and finding a common wire (white) can be both inconvenient and is additional wiring. The ability to dim the low end on an LED is good. The touch-and-feel of the switch's operation is also good. Our electrician used some generic brand, all plastic, that have a lose, imprecise feel to the on-off.

Easy to install, other than the instructions were poor about job of each wire. I know for a 3-way switch there is a "traveler" wire, which I suspected was the red/white stripe. I found clearer instructions (larger and in color), plus a video. I am blind in one eye, and has cataract surgery on the other eye a year ago, and I really notice and struggle with reading instructions. The switches work well, but I cannot give more stars because of the lousy instructions.

Use dimmable 65W LED light bulbs.
