it has one job. It doesn't do that one job correctly. sharpens wood, breaks lead every time.

Purchase a couple of them. They are easy to lose!

This pencil Sharpener made it "less than intelligent" proof on how to use it.

Works as advertised

Neat idea, not sure how long it has been out there but I just found it. I was a bit hesitant to purchase because the price is high on a simple pencil sharpener. I hope it lasts. The reason for four stars vs 5 is because of the price.

Sharp Pencils Really Sharp

Purchased similar from Orange Box I use 8 mm diameter pencils flat carpenter and 6 mm standard pencils. My preference has always been 8 mm pencils worked for me in grade school works mow finding a pocket sharpener to get the point ultra sharp has always been a problem mot any more this little sharpener will get all three sizes sharp as a hypodermic needle mow own 4 them a must in finish carpenters apron

This one actually works! For cheaper carpenter's pencils like all others this will still break lead in it However this one will put a good point on a better quality carpenters pencil

Just was not good for me

Thought it would be little easier to sharpen pencil, I still needed to whittle down the point so that I could use product. Might be a use if you wanted to create thin lines you can make a point. With that said I use it for marking rough wood and a point would brake.

Sharpen up

This is a great tool for sharpening my carpenter pencils. I had been using my pocket knife but this is so much easier.

Best for a square pencil

I used for my square carpenter pencils and it is wonderful.
