Beautiful Hydrangea
I purchased a blue hydrangea flowering shrub a few weeks back. I have yet to plant it in my backyard, as it looks beautiful just sitting on my counter. So far, the hydrangea is doing well and producing/holding its blooms without fading in color. The leaves seem to be getting a little limp. I plan to water more frequently and change the placement for lighting requirements.

Would RecommendPurchased this plant on a 95* day, brought it home and soaked it as it was dry. Planted it in the cool of the morning on the next day. It is in full sun so have watered and fertilized and it's doing well. Price was good for the size of the plant. I have found that Lowe's has good plants and shrubs for reasonable prices. I have even brought back to life some of the items on their 50% off rack that have looked like they would not make it.

requires a lot of watering
Would RecommendThis is a beautiful plant and did transplant well, however it takes watering at least once A-day if not twice a day. It does always perk back up though. It's so hot out here Where we live, that probably impacts the need to water it so much.

Would RecommendI put this in a pot so I can move inside for our very cold winters and it is doing great! Big beautiful white flowers and always adding new leaves. It needs water everyday in this heat and prefers early morning light. Love this plant.
