Would RecommendThe mounting location is under a porch, framing partially blocking the sensor. I knew the sensor would work when I got close enough, which is all I wanted. But to my surprise it works at 3o ft away when driving by.

I bought this to replace a 20+ year old carriage style motion sensor light. All I can say is Wow! It has intuitive controls, easy to adjust the sensor and beams, a really bright light AND accurate sensing. It was easy to install. My only wish is that they would put printed installation instructions in the box instead of forcing us to scan a QR code.
