Product is small, will take several to get your fire started, especially if using an outdoor fire pit.

Deliver as Promised

I read some of the reviews and was sceptical. However, these worked much better than I expected. One starter with a few large logs and a few pieces of kindling is perfect to start a fire. I will purchase these again.

This is a awesome buy! I thought I would try them and I dont regret it. They are clean, easy to use, and it really only takes one nugget!!!!!!

The nuggets are small

These are relatively small and don't start as easy as the wax based products. But if you know what you are doing and use some small kindling before putting on large logs no problem. Less smoke and no chemical smell when burning would buy again.

A great product

We use a woodstove in the winter months and we need a good quick way to start a fire in the early morning when it is very cold the Firestarters do the trick, I am buying them early so I can stock up for winter !

Great at starting the grill

One piece is all that is needed to get either charcoal briquettes or lump charcoal started without any lighter fluid

Powerful Little Fire Starters

These are the best fire starters I have found. They are small and easy to light and seemingly are able to start fires with all but the wettest wood. Excellent for the outdoorsman/woman as they are small and light and will start burning with one match under less than optimal conditions that could save a life.

I purchased these when they were on a clearance table in a big box store. I thought for the price I wouldn't be wasting much money. I gave several boxes away before I ever tried them. I only wish I had those boxes back. There is no petroleum or chemical odor, they light immediately and just one under charcoal in a charcoal chimney does it. It's just amazing. I will not have a problem paying full retail for them when I run out.

This could be a breakthrough..

I was excited to see this item, there were only three left so I decided to try it. Its not a quick fire starter. I have now found with the coating on it placing it on top of news paper to get your fire going is faster than either technique by themselves.

Nuggets work great...

I liked using the nugget firestarters better than using the stixs because you can easily place the nuggets in very specific places to work to your advantage. I also got these at a great make down price, thanks Lowe's

Much better than the firessticks since they light quick and easy. No muss no fuss

Safe ,easy to use and store

Have used it for several years after a recommendation from a friend. It is safer to store and use than other fire starters. Individual units can be broken into smaller pieces for smaller fires. We use it in the fireplace and grill with great success.

wow amazing little product

These are amazing and more natural than the duraflame product. Just wood and wax. Never had a problem starting a fire with just one. Going to buy more.
