Great fireplace starting option
Would RecommendWe have used starting logs in the past, so when we didn't find them on the Lowe's shelf, we had to consider our options. We settled on these starting nuggets and were pleasantly surprised by their performance. They're quite cheap but start kindling great. We generally use midsized split oak kindling around 2", and this starts it no problem. It might start logs, but we haven't tried.
