Locked out due to no warning of low battery

I have used this product for over 1.5 years no issue, until today when I got locked out due to low battery without warning. I had already opened and used the app twice today and there was no warning of low battery. This is a massive oversight by level that should be resolved immediately. So many other products provide warnings well ahead of shut down. This is hugely concerning for safety and security. Beware of Lowes....

Because Lowes wants to curb theft, they have this behind a locked cabinet and walk it to the register and unfortunately after checking out the store associate kept the lock, so I have no idea if it's any good and Lowes can't give me a new one, obvs.

Very Disappointed with Level

Lock worked great for about 1 year, then I had connectivity issues. I downloaded their app, but that did not help. I went to their site and requested a chat which went unanswered. In the troubleshooting section it was suggested the battery may need to be changed. I removed the lock to find there was no battery access. Very disappointed to have paid $200 for a lock to have it become non-functional.

Pleasantly surprised

Stumbled across these in store, as I hadn’t heard or seen them before. Installation was super easy, but I did encounter a problem trying to use them. Do not buy this lock if you want a smart lock!!!!

I spent $200 to upgrade my old deadbolt. What I got at home was a tech support nightmare and a lock that will not function in any capacity as a smart lock. With brand new batteries(I have tried 4) I immediately get an low battery error, the lock will not connect update or function. 16 emails back and forth to tech support and still no resolution. They need to make this product slimmer so it fits with an existing lock cylinder better.

Apple build quality

Simply top tier. Works flawlessly. Very handsomely crafted of fine materials and it’s honestly elegant to behold. It is intuitive, easy to install and has worked flawlessly for me for months through winters freezing temps etc.

Worls like charm and no unsightly stuff in view

We love our Level bolts. We use them on both the front and rear entrances of the house. I often come and go through the back of the house, so have it set to automatically unlock as I approach. My wife is the opposite -- she typically comes and goes through the form of the house, so she has the front door do the same for her. They are smooth, work like a charm, and keys for us a thing of the past.

Easy to install. Works great with Apple HomeKit. From the Level App, it’s a bit slow to respond.

Level lock bolt preserved the look of my new door

I chose the Level Lock bolt which is totally invisible. No way to see that there is a smart lock and with the app, it works flawlessly. Homekit integration works with a slight lag but that is a feature I would rarely use. I love knowing the door is locked and if I wish to there is a keypad available. A Bluetooth fob would be a novel idea.

Pretty good room for improvement
