A good value in residential switches
Although there are more expensive switches, These single pole switches are, like the 3 way ones, a great value for residential use. Just do not use the "poke-home" feature and instead wrap the wires around the screws. That feature can be a repairman's nightmare.

Would RecommendI replaced some older almond color switches with the new white ones. They look and perform much better.

Would RecommendI just finished installing two boxes of these around my house. I am so happy I did. It turns out the old ones used to be white! I thought they were really yellow! These have a nice clicky sound and work well. I hope they last a long time. I never want to install these again.

14ga doesn't fit the insert properly
Would RecommendThe holes to insert 14 ga copper aren't quite right. This is not a problem if you use the screw lugs instead of the push ins Other than that they are fine.

Works but Feels Cheap
Would RecommendSwitch is functional. However, when used it feels cheap. Switching motion is not smooth and makes a high pitch click that sounds like it may break apart. It would be great operational feel match the companion 3-way switch. (Item #: 246598 | Model #: 663WGCP8)
