Marine Expoxy

I've used this product over the past year on two projects on my boat - both involved epoxying starboard to fiberglass to provide through-backing for screws and both were subjected to significant weights and stress loads. This product delivers; I've experienced no separation where this epoxy was used. Highly recommended for your marine needs.

Great waterproof epoxy

I used this epoxy to repair a pool sweeper. This epoxy, when combined with some fiberglass matting does a great job patching a hole.

Seals tight

Bought this for a shower enclosure that had a deep gash in the bottom. Mixed this up smoothed it out on the fiberglass and it sealed in tight , slightly off color but it looks good

strong stuff

used it on my boat of course, easy to mix and apply.. hardens completely overnight. extremely strong

Marine Epoxy

I use it to fill and fix scratches and dings I get on my skiff. Works great and holds up to salt water. Couldn’t ask for more.

Exactly what I needed!

I used this to patch a rusty area in our tub. I sanded all of the rust and then applied 3 coats of this epoxy, letting each coat dry before sanding and applying the next coat. This was exactly what I needed!!

Best Adhesive For Nylon I've Found

I needed to repair my printer where a nylon gear had slipped off a metal roller. I knew it would be tricky since nylon is the worst for adhesives to stick to. I tested JB weld, permatex plastic welder, loctite plastic bonder, hot glue and loctite ultra gel control. I would put a dab of the glue on the side of the gear and wait 24 hours then try to pull off. Had a leak in the base of my DE Pool Filter. PSI normally is between 18-40 or so. I had a thin crack which caused water to sprew all over the place. I removed the top cover of the filter (which was fiber glass) ,removed the grid assembly. Then I just sprayed the area around the crack. Then i used sandpaper around the crack, sprayed again,and let it completely dry. I then mixed the 2 parts and applied. I put about 3 coats on it and waited about 12 hrs between coats. Boat hull repair

I used this product to fill a boomerang shaped clean cut hole I put in the bottom of my hull with a Rotozip tool from the inside. Oops! The cut was about 2 1/4" long and 5/16" wide. Once mixed the product was not as thick as I had hoped and I would not recommend it for any vertical repairs. If I tried to fill my horizontal hole it would have oozed out from gravity so I put packaging tape over the gash from underneath and filled it from inside. Repaired my swimming pool skimmer

My pool skimmer had a crack at the joint resulting in a leak that discharged over 50 gallons of water daily. The repair estimates I got started at $1000 to replace the skimmer. I drained the pool to a level below the skimmer and applied 2 tubes, spreading with a plastic putty knife. It was a $10 fix!!

Does exactly what it says - buy it!

Follow the directions, they are easy. To mix and apply use disposable plastic fast food knives or even toothpicks for small jobs. I used this to firm up name brand clothes dryer knobs that easily broke, and for several other projects. Just give it time to cure as the package says. Takes forever to cure

This epoxy was extremely difficult to squeeze out of the twin tube design in equal amounts. Epoxy took well over 2 hours to set. Was barely tacky after an hour. I'm not sure why anybody needs this much time to use this epoxy.

A great buy that fixed my problem

I have a pvc pond liner in our yard that cracked on the side. All the water kept leaking out of the pond. I found the crack and used this marine grade epoxy to patch the hole. I let it set over nite and filled the pond with water the next day. This epoxy worked very well. The ease of use was good. The epoxy set firm and was very easy to use. If you have a crack underwater I would recommend this product because it can be used in wet conditions. This epoxy saved me about 230.00 for a new pond line...

Inconsistent quality and directions

The first time I bought Loctite Marine Epoxy it worked great. However in subsequent purchases, the tan epoxy was so thick it was almost impossible to squeeze out, and the syringe wasn't strong enough to withstand such pressure causing me to throw away 1/4 of each tube. The instructions are also contradicting, the tube states the epoxy will set in 2 hours (fully cures in 24) but the package states it requires a minimum of 3 hours to set. Loctite also claims the epoxy can be applied underwater but...

great product!

Dries super hard. Will adhere to most anything. Will fix most any hole or leak.

This is a great epoxy. Once cured it is super soilid. Besyre to b clean the excess off while still wet as with all epoxy.
