Excellent dishwasher

I love the steal tub, it’s a game changer and one of quality (vs plastic). The top controls are a hit and miss for me, not one of quality issues, but of human error (I bump the controls when close the door).

First one was faulty.

The first dishwasher had a bad door switch, which means I can open the door when the water is on and it sprays everywhere. The second one got delivered today works like it supposed to. It is very quiet! Cleans great and dries great! Keeping my fingers crossed that this will last 15 years like my Amana.

Nightmare

A little after a year this dishwasher started having an error code that it wasn’t getting water (though you could see it filling with water). We changed the sensor and it didn’t fix it. We had a service person come out and he determined that it needed a new control board. We live in a rural area and it’s very difficult to find service people to work with LG service. After many hours in chats with LG service we were unable to coordinate between the service person and LG customer service. Instead ...

Very smart & efficient

I love the modern improvements added to this model. I have always used LG and I love that this machine will let me know when I need to clean the machine and to fill the Rinse Aid Refill. It is quiet and cleans beautifully.

Working great

Recently installed and working great. I would like the clean indicator light to stay on until door is closed again instead of going off as soon as it’s opened.

Not as quiet as the salesman lead me to believe.

Replaced a 19 year old GE dishwasher. The adjustable rack seem nice but do not seem as durable as my old unit. The adjustable rack fold easily when loading heavier items. So far does a good wash but the unit is not as quiet as I was lead to believe. My old unit was quieter. That said I like the LG so far. It has more options that I had yet to try.

Newer not better

I had an LG dishwasher for the last 12 years and it worked perfectly until it didn't anymore. so I figured I would get another LG. Big mistake, this thing will not do the basic thing of cleaning the dishes. The top rack is absolutely useless, unless you lay a butter knife flat not much else will fit and it definitely won't clean anything in that rack anyway. Is it much to wish a dishwasher would actually clean dishes I mean this thing is pretty much useless unless you clean the dishes off at lea...

Quiet and clean

Very quiet!! The dishes came out sparkling! Lots of space with three levels for loading. It does take a long time for a complete cycle to run.

We’re very pleased with this dishwasher. It’s very quiet and really gets the dishes clean, even when they’ve not been rinsed and have set up for a long time. The third rack for silverware is great, giving you more room on the bottom rack for additional dishes. And with the controls on the top of the door instead of the fro t of the door, no more starting it accidentally by bumping it.

Fits a lot of dishes - dries very well overnight

This dishwasher fits a lot of items. Especially if you are like us and can put the silverware on the 3rd rack thus freeing up the space that the silverware caddy goes off to the side. With the adjustable 2nd shelf, we were able to make room for our largest stock pot (16 qts) on the bottom rack. The second rack doesn't just have 2 levels.
