We are enjoying some pretty cool sound but it took some trial and error. First, you have to make sure the receiver has no interference to the sound bar or you get no sound or sound that cuts in and out. Second, download the LGWIFI-speaker app which allows you to increase or change the volume. I’m not sure why this isn’t part of the setup instructions. Rear wireless speakers will not play sound anymore. I hit the reset button and the green LED just blinks forever.I got the speakers because I have the LG sly9 soundbar and wanted the rear speakers. When I initially got them they worked.

It's simple to test it, run Dolby Atmos test tones (7.1.2) and for every sound bar channel the subwoofer make some bass (the bass management ), for the rear channels (SPK8-S channels) sub is mute, no bass management. these speakers are not wireless, require a gigantic DVD player size receiver to even attempt to work. But don't worry, I'm sure you won't keep these things long enough to hate the receiver box, as they don't work for me or anyone else in the entire world according to all of the reviews. They sound great when they actually work

I’ve tried rearranging all the electronics in the room including turning everything else off. The connection between the sub and or the rear speakers is so weak and is cutting out so much it’s just not worth the purchase. Might work better with the higher end lg sound bars. I bought sound bar, along with rear wireless speakers. I brought the first pair of speakers back, because they told me they were defective, I got another pair, and am having the same problems which is the rear speaker disconnecting from the sound bar, I moved the receiver around the house to see if it will stay connected, but they don't.

Decent sound, but...

Hard not to recommend since they are the only ones available for the SLY10 I bought along with these. But Atmos/DTS:X system's should be complimented by complete rear units capable of performing the task of handling elevated audio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these on Black Friday with an SL4Y. Was awesome for about 2 days then since it has just been cutting in and out every minute of so. Terrible distraction. It is clear path only about 15 feet from sound bar. From the looks of the other reviews it is a common problem. Should of read the reviews before purchasing.

I’ve called to trouble shoot numerous times and NOBODY can give me a real answer for the cutting in and out. We have extremely fast internet. All programs and shows work flawlessly and no glitches yet the wireless speakers cut out all the time. I regret buying these so much. I want answers.

Trouble keeping BT connection with SL4Y Soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need some help. Trying to get the SPK8-S working with my SL4Y Soundbar. I can get it to connect (shows green on SPK8-S) and I hear sound from the 2 rear speakers. But it only lasts a minute or two and I lose connection and the LED goes to flashing red. If I unplug & replug the rear speakers, it connects again showing green and playing sounds. But I lose it again. What can I do to fix this?
