Dryer Eats Clothes

I purchased this dryer 2 weeks ago. Every load I dry some article of clothing gets stuck in-between the lint filter area and the drum. You name it, socks, undies, shirts, even sheets! The company I bought it from has been here to try and adjust the filter but it didn't help.

Very worth the money.

I love the matte black and being able to connect it to Wi-Fi to be able to use features on the app.

Shreds clothes

I noticed that our clothes would get caught beneath the lint trap and become twisted. it just ruined my daughter's brand new shirt we bought yesterday. I am beyond mad. I will never purchase an LG appliance again.

Not a quality product

The hinge on our door broke. Customer service was unable to help because the warranty had expired two months ago. Disappointed this product only lasted 14 months! I purchase this product based on the good reviews!

Great step up from regular dryer

Nice tech. Has phone app uses wifi. But still can use on board knob like a regular washer

Overall I like this dryer. I really like the steam setting it has if you need to get wrinkles out. I am still trying to get used to the different dryer settings. Couple cons for me are the dryer door doesn’t open very far. The top of the dryer is not flat, it is slanted. I used to have a drying rack on top of my old dryer which I liked to use. The biggest issue I have had is some of my clothing items get caught near the lint filter so they are twisted and very wrinkled when the cycle is done.

DO NOT BUY! Design Flaw

Dryer gets clothing, draw strings, and dryer sheets stuck between the drum & lint filter and has ruined multiple articles of our clothing. We actually exchanged for another unit assuming it was a defective item, but the second dryer had the same issue, so we returned.

Door does not close smoothly whatsoever

I purchased this dryer last week and picked it up today. I installed it and the door is extremely loud when I close it. Sounds like metal contacting metal. I checked all of the screws on the door and every single one is tight. For the amount I paid, this is unacceptable!! Buyer beware!

Be Warned

I have only had this dryer for two weeks, and today the top hinge on the door suddenly came loose and the door almost fell on my foot. I actually read another review mentioning the same problem but assumed it was a fluke and decided to take the risk. I am regretting that decision. I did nothing unusual with the dryer and there hasn’t been any extra wear. For a hinge to come loose after just two weeks suggests a serious design flaw.
