excellent performance and value

The drying features are more optimized, the multifunction door is fantastic and it does a great job in drying our laundry.

Good dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally do not do reviews but if it helps someone to make a decision i will this once. I am highly satisfied this dryer. It dries the clothes very quick and is quite. I bought a GE washer first then decided to upgrade the dryer and base on the reviews I went with this LG model instead of a matching GE dryer because it will dry your clothes in less time. Set on auto sense and normal dry, it will dry your clothes in 40 minutes or less.

Excellent Dryer and great capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved our home and purchased this washer & Dryer set and it has been super, it dries large loads, sheets, pillow cases, towels in very large amounts. It cut our wash /dry time by at least 35% compared to what we had.

Power and start button

On 3 separate occasions our start button and power button would not work.

Excellent dryer

The sensor settings don’t seem to sense the dampness very well because the clothes are always still wet. Seriously, every time they’re still wet. Even when I change it to very dry. Now I just set it on time dry to avoid the sensor. Also not a fan of the lint filter. It’s not very easy to clean out but I’m sure it does a great job of keeping the lint out of...

I bought the dryer & matching washer at close-out sale, out of box, as is. The lid was broken, so we got repairman to order the parts to fix it. The screws are plastic & have snapped again. We've spent over $100. The tray that lid covers is not involved with operation of dryer, so we will not purchase a new one. If our lid isn't defective, than type of screws...

Has one serious flaw that needs to be redesigned

We really enjoy this dryer especially because of its large capacity, and that clothes really come out dry. However, there is a flaw in the design of the lint filter. This lint filter has to be removed, and then opened to get to the lint. It "opens" up similar to opening a notebook. After removing the lint, you close it back up and insert back into the dryer. Great features - but took 2 to get it right

Upon putting the first load in to dry, it immediately started making a large banging noise and then smoke started coming from the back. Immediately shut it off n unplugged it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the matching dryer for my wife because the drier she had just took to long to dry the cloths, the new dryer has a huge drum that gives the cloths plenty of room to more around and dry quickly.

quiet operation, and huge load capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this about 2 weeks with the matching dryer. Everything works well, and is quiet, however the pre-programmed wash types are a little confusing. They aren't explained at all. for example there is one called Towels. It automatically sets the water temp, and spin cycle, but it's still unclear.
