Dumpster dryer

I never thought I could HATE anything in my life as much as I hate this dryer. I have tried every cycle this thing has and 70 percent of the time it stops and my clothes are still wet, not damp in places because the dryer sensors think they’re dry… wet! Often I have to dry on the 25 minute quick cycle, twice. I’m not overloading the dryer either my loads are small. Do not get this garbage I don’t know it has one good review

Broke down after 1 year - disappointed

We originally really enjoyed this dryer. It looks great, and it is easy to use. Unfortunately, it broke down after just 1 year of regular use. Of course we just so happened to have not purchased the warranty. Granted, I can diagnose and fix the issue myself. But it's really disappointing that lack of quality here that something that costs $1,000 doesn't last a year before breaking down. On top of that, LG makes scheduling a repair feel near-impossible. It seems like they want us to SHIP ...

Don’t buy

We’ve had this dryer about 2 years now and it worked fine for about a year. Now, It’s burned holes in multiple items, tried doing multiple different settings and changing how full/light we fill it. Nothing helps DO NOT BUY.

Drum light won’t turn on! Do not buy this dryer!

The drum light will only turn on if you open the dryer door ONE minute and 30 seconds after the cycle ends! Absolutely ridiculous! No one empties the dryer one minute after the cycle ends. The dryer light should come on ANYTIME, EVERYTIME the dryer door is opened. Everyday I use this dryer I curse this stupid feature! Why would LG design this to be so stupid and useless? LG claims this feature is to save energy. Save your sanity and frustration and don’t buy this dryer!

Not as good as my old one

Very disappointed and dissatisfied

Purchased this dryer based on my experience with an LG front loader that lasted for 14 years. This one less than a year after purchase the control panel had to be replaced. Good price, quality machine!

We bought this dryer 22 days ago, after our old dryer of many, many years finally pooped out. We wanted a replacement quickly at a good price, so we weren't picky about color or brand. This one was half price and appeared well-made. The door could be opened from the top for easy loading; it could be swung out sideways for easy unloading into a basket. Steam and static

The steam option is very helpful, as it allows one to insert steam at end of cycle to eliminate static, and avoid using dryer sheets

Great looking dryer with dual door opening

I have owned this Dryer for about one month and really like the looks. The door opening two ways is very convenient. It may be more complicated than we needed, but we got it at a good price. My only concern is I wish I knew how hot all the various temperatures actually are. Many of the preset program settings go to Med High. My wife is concerned about shrinking her clothes.
