Great Product

I purchased this microwave about a month ago and so far we love it. It has sensored cooking, which is awesome. I even like the chime it makes when your food is done etc. I will update review in a few months

A first-class microwave

Cleaning is very easy.

We bought this in late November and have been very pleased with the performance and easy cleaning of the unit. It took some miner retraining to use as our old microwave ran for 60 seconds with one push of the start button and to get 60 seconds run time on this on you have to push start twice or it defaults to its 30 seconds timer.

Works great, but lights have gone out.

It has worked great but recently the light inside burned out, and the lighted numbers on the outside are affected too. To change the light bulb I would need to take off the entire outside casing off the microwave, and then mess with parts inside. Way too much could go wrong!

Technology and Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the only full-size microwave that would fit on our microwave shelf. We like the full-size turntable that will hold our largest casseroles. We like the inverter technology and the sensor heating.. We can now successfully defrost meat in our microwave.

Did it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like this unit so much that when the first one started to have opening push button handle issues I decided to buy the same thing again but with a four-year plan against breakdown.

Second time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time I've purchase this unit. The first one had an issue with the push button release and got tired of pulling on the door but liked it so much otherwise that I had decided to buy the same one again.

My LG Microwave

Bought my LG a few weeks ago after my 2nd GE model in 2 years died after the warranty expired. The 1st GE model died 2 months before it's warranty expired and the company reimbursed me for it's replacement. For me, 2 strikes and your out. Love the features of the LG with the exception of the "Popcorn Button". Maybe I'm not performing the function correctly but cannot pop corn using this feature. Only operates for approximately 25 seconds before function completes and shuts down. Have to manually...

Update and upgrade

Doesn't last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor quality. Ours is two years old and the button to open the door broke off. It's made of very cheap small plastic clips holding it. You don't have to be a mechanical engineer to see that it is another product made for the landfill. LG was supposed to be rescuing their reputation but I guess not.
