LG Refrigerator Water Filter

I bought this filter to replace one in my refrigerator after 6 months of use. I read the instructions. It was pretty easily installed except the "click" that you are to hear when turning to the right never happened. Uncertain if it was unique to this filter but it seems to be working fine and without leaks. Uncertain if anyone else has experienced this.

Great Taste

Great taste! Is overpriced, but water taste is way better! I wish the price would be cheaper!

Easy installation

Gorgeous refrigerator

Door water system gives plenty of room to fill teapot and water bottles. Keeps perfect temperature. Very good warranty on compressor--10 years! Also, water filter easy to install and can put on auto-order!!

Refrigerator Filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my LG Refrigerator, but the filter not so much. It has to be replaced every 6 months. It is nice to know the water and ice cubes coming out of the refrigerator are filtered, but changing the filter is not fun. It is at the back of the refrigerator over the top shelf. It would be much easier to change if it were in the door or somewhat lower down. Also it is relatively large so takes up some space.

water tastes fresh

Bought a generic brand, the water was poor in taste, logged on to LG and purchased this filter, will never change again even set it up on auto refill program! Trust LG use there products!

Best filter

I have used a LG original LG Filter (LT500P/5231JA2002A) produced by Cuno Water Group on LG LSC26905TT Refrigerator since June 16, 2012. And in July 2014, my refrigerator did not make ice, but water tasted ok. I realized that I have not changed filter for two years that make filter clogged and pressure was low that leading to no ice produced. Once I replaced filter, it recovered to produce ice. That means my filter does worked well for full two years. What a high performance! I replaced old filt...
