Stackable washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer since 2015. Love the features and the size. It takes care of load large wonderfully. Although I had the repair man come out for a couple issues. I would still buy the LG washer. I do believe their products are better than most others. In fact I just bought a French door LG fridge which is awesome. Have it a couple weeks now. Great features, great size and makes our kitchen look fantastic. So yes I would recommend LG.

Mold, 2 major issues within 5 years

Prevalent mold behind the gasket, despite living in the Mojave Desert, always leaving the door open, and almost always fully removing the detergent tray between uses. Cleaning products like Affresh are useless on it. First major repair around 18 mos when drain hose developed a hole and was leaking water on the floor -- how does a drain hose just develop a hole like that??? Has made metal clinking sounds for a long time ...

Dependable

Great washer, but when it falls it falls hard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG Ultra Capacity almost seven years ago. It is loaded with features and options like gentle wash for the babies things and sanitize for hospital scrubs. It spins so fast there is very little moisture left for the dryer. But is drum is now just a little out of round and so when it spins it shakes to whole house. The cost of the repair is almost as much as a new washer. Is this planned obsolescence by LG?

My parents washer 40 years ago was better

I own this washer for less than 2 years and the entire inside gasket is pitch black with mold/mildew. Nothing cleans it. I tried scrubbing it with bleach, with vinegar, running the tub wash cycle doesn't work. I called the help desk and they said you have to wipe down the machine after every use. My parents washing machine 40 years ago didn't need to do that. I purchased an LG machine for the quality and ease of use. Now I have to replace the gasket.

Prefer my old washer

I do not like this washer because it goes out of balance frequently, (top loader never did that), it smells bad sometimes so that I have to sanitize it (top loader never smelled bad ), I have to drain the water out of a little tube under the tub and clean the filter periodically (I never had to clean the filter on the top loader). It has a tub clean cycle - but I didn't have to tub clean my old washer....

Great washer, but...

I bought the washer 4 years ago. It is perform perfect. It was one of the best washers on market. Only problem I have, once in while it is leaking from the air vent. According to LG, problem is to much detergent, wrong detergent or else. The real problem is design. The horizontal part of the vent hose is not horizontal. It is 1/2" below the correct position. In order to make it horizontal, front must be below the back of the machine. If water get inside the vent hose, it will accumulate and ...

It's okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad it seems to recognize without a lot of set up, that it HAS a DVD in it to play... I haven't yet done more than that. So, not much to say.

Nice TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV was easy to set up and get to know. It has many good features and great wifi connectivity features. The only problem with it is I can't get closed captioning to shut off for some reason, hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Cleaner clothes than ever before

simply works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wash mostly cotton clothing/towels/bedding and synthetic sports clothes. This machine does a fine job and is easy to use. I have the paired dryer and they work well together.

easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my unit about a year and have been happy with it. No errors and the clothes seem to be as clean as other units I've had. I like the settings that you can change. Haven't tried the phone feature though. Nice to have one button to save your favorite setting. I use it for my elderly mom who can be overwhelmed with technology.
