Just AWFUL
8 years old and my husband has replaced the pump seven times!! Water leaked out front from day one. App NEVER worked! Water out the bottom weekly. Loud as a freight train and rusting where dispenser pushes into machine which began happening after 2 years. I sincerely urge you to NOT PURCHASE AN LG ANYTHING

Failed after 8 years of moderate use

Why not 5 stars? Nothing is perfect. To have an expectation of max before starting only defeats the purpose of an honest review. Pro - High Efficiency Ease of Use, quiet Con - If you don't keep up on the routine of cleaning. You will notice! Which is NOT a LG issue, it is an issue for all front loaders

Disappointed that the motor failed
I didn’t expect a major issue like a motor failure with a top of the line washer from a reputed brand. Software interface is also not very helpful as I couldn’t download a custom cycle. Overall a good machine but doesn’t handle bigger sized items like comforters.

LG wash machine

The only maintenance is to make sure the filter at the bottom left is cleaned out and the door constantly left open to prevent mold around the cover washers

CONFIRM your model # has an "add item" Feature!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compare the models! This one was a little more expensive but the lower model doesn't have an "Add an Item" feature. So if you "forgot a sock" your stuck. My drain pump went on this unit after 6-years and I replaced it with the new model #. Make sure you get the 8 year warranty - on all appliances - you will use it.
