This is one of the best AC's I have purchased in recent years. I tended to buy only Friederich's units. This unit is on par with and even better than others purchased: 1. its efficiency in quickly cooling a room since its circulation capability is high! A Rusted Mess After Just 4 Months

I took this air-conditioner out of a sunny, east-facing window in Boston after just four months and found a rusted mess inside. There is a drain plug in the bottom of the unit but the instructions from LG specifical state it should remain installed while the unit is in use and is only to be removed to drain water from the unit prior to removing it from the window and storing it away for the Winter. 2 Stars for 2 years

Had I written this review last summer, it would have been 5 stars. I purchased this Aug. 2023, and as of Aug 2025, it stopped cooling properly. If I put the fan speed higher than F1 the coils would freeze over. Now it's progressed to freezing up on the F1 setting. I live in Southern Louisiana, a cold AC is mandatory. Quiet yet powerful

Powerful and perfect for hot summers

VERY POWERFUL

And this has NO issues cooling almost the entire house. I love that it has a remote for easy turn off and on, it’s kinda heavy so takes a bit to put in but perfect otherwise. It’s quiet so no issues hearing the tv either!

WOW! MUST BUY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! This AC is everything you could need and want! It's large, but oh, so quiet! It has multiple setting from just the fan to high cold air. It has a convenient remote that let's your control from the comfort of your couch, bed, or just about anywhere. The lights can also be turned off for a "night" setting so its not giving off any extra light, but remains on! This is definitely the AC to buy if you're looking for a new one.

Good AC
