Power cutting with out a battery or a cord.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent design, easy to grip and great balance. Was able to cut 16 gauge LGS track with ease. One handed grip that allows for great control and enough room for an extra hand if needed to power through tuff cuts. Love the measurements on the blade.

Almost there ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On 26g venting, these do not work so well. When you need to cut a narrow strip, the metal falls between the blades and traps it. It is very annoying. I work on boilers and it is also troubling to trim flow switch paddles with these. I wish they worked better.

this tool is unique

Gin snips

Aviation snips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The right hand aviation snips is well built. The handle is well made and can grip tightly. I used my to cut a couple pieces of steel roofing and some fascia did a good job. They curled the cut away on the thinner fascia.

Quality snips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These snips are such a big improvement over the standard snips you can find at the store. I have an older pair and these cut so much easier, smoother, and cleaner. I know these are still new but the quality of the steel used is very apparent.

Sturdy snips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got a chance to try these snips out today. They worked great. Just as most good quality tools do when new. They feel very sturdy and look like they’ll hold up. I had a hard time getting used to the lock - it works just the opposite as ones I’ve used for the last 50 years. But the lock works very well and I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Only reason not 5 stars is the aerated edge on both blades may be hard to sharpen in the future.

Straight Metal Snips Review for Irwin & Lenox Snip

Great feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the feel of them, the weight is just right. They didn’t cut as easy as the left ones, probably due to an injury I have. Cuts about 1 3/8” with each cut. Cuts were clean ,smooth and no burrs were left. Overall great product!

Great feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great feeling handles, just the right weight. Cuts about 1 3/8 inch per cut. Right cut were harder than the left for me ,probably because of an injury to my wrist. Easy to lock/unlock with one hand. Smooth cuts with very little burrs.

Produce a very nice cut in my materials

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these snips for just over two weeks now, they are light weight and cut through the copper and brass sheet I use in my business very well. Unlike other makers snips I find Irwins do not buckle the material at the end of each cut allowing for a smooth cut over the entire length. Its important to use the correct snips and having both a left and right cut also minimizes the chance of an irregular cut. A very useful well made tool

Great pair of Right Aviation Snips
