Difficult Instruction Contrast

Overall, enjoyed putting this set together. There are a handful of pages that are difficult determine what’s going on due to poor contrast. There are dark green and black pieces on a black background.

Liked outcome did not enjoy build

Whoever decided to print the directions on a black background should never be allowed anywhere near that task again. Build was rather monotonous. Flowers are fragile I do like the results but I wouldn’t do anything like it again.

Beautiful and fun details

This set is my new favorite! Not only is it beautiful, not only do I now have flowers that can't wilt and look cool, but I absolutely loved seeing how creatively the existing LEGO elements were used: car hoods, and pterodactyl wings, and surf boards, oh my! Small feedback: I found the lavender assembly instructions a bit hard to follow, especially the last step. If doing something similar in the future, it would be helpful to either show the individual stalks and then how they attach to the hub,...

Pretty and fun

I love this so much that I got myself a second set! And my mom loved them so I got her a set, which my sister stole because she loves them! (I’m getting my mom another set.) They’re fun to put together and look great on the coffee table and are a good conversation piece. This set is perfection!

Pretty easy, instructions are awful

So it took me 90 minutes to put this together. It would have been faster but the white instructions on a black background were absolutely awful. You can't see the color of the piece you're supposed to use and sometimes pieces literally melt into the black paper. Really, these instructions should be re-printed on a white background. My eyesight is fine and I had overhead lights on. Pretty easy to put together. Looks very nice when done. I'd love a lego see-through vase to put them in.

amazing looking build very fun

my son got this for me and built it with me is looks absolutely beautiful only problem is that the instructions are VERY HARD to read the back round is completely black. i would totally recommend it though

MOAR FLOWERS PLEEZE

Fun to build but not enough flowers. I bought an extra set (sold out on Lego so had to pay a 100% markup elsewhere) to fill out my vase. THAT made it SING. Needs more flowers. Like another reviewer, I'd like to expand mine, but the Birds of Paradise is sort of just a few flowers and are sort of boxy, so won't go with the set and the leaves are too big and it has a really annoying and ugly vase so yeah, not getting it. Black Pages Bad

The flowers are lovely when built. But, the black pages in the instruction book, while very elegant, are too difficult to see. I had to take a photo of most pages on my phone, then expand them to see the detail. Difficult to find vase to hold them without toppling over, it would have been nice for a buildable bottle, such as in the ship in a bottle build, to have been part of the set. Still, the flowers are top heavy, and difficult to arrange without parts falling off.

Horrible instruction visual

It's a pretty set, repetitive but quite interesting building experience. But my god, the instruction is impossible to see and distinguish the colors. These instructions now have a black background and that makes it impossible to see the dark-colored pieces except for black pieces that uses white outline. Because of this, it was by far one of the worst experiences I had in a while building a set. Really hope they figure out a smart coloring strategy.

Why the Black Background

I purchased this set along with the Bonsai Tree for myself and my parents. I love the concept of both sets and how they are making lego more sculptural, but the black background made it difficult to built this set and the bonsai. The color contrast of the manual just made it difficult for me to see what parts I was trying to put together. Please lego look at the contrast of the bricks and the background. Overall, I like the set.

Love the flowers

I love the flowers but I would seriously recommend making the books and the pages not on black paper it is hard to see the dark colors bricks if you’re not in a extremely well lit or sunshine field room.

Beautiful Bouquet

This was so much fun to do with my teenage granddaughter and turned out to be stunning. We found a simple vase and added glass marbles for a beautiful, unique arrangement. Everyone loves it and is so impressed. Our one and only issue was the instruction book. The black pages made it extremely difficult to see the instruction illustrations and to match the illustrated colors with the pieces. Wife Loves Them!

Told my wife I bought her flowers, she didn’t realize I got her LEGO flowers! She loved this lego flower bouquet which is a very unique gift. They look great in our kitchen! Very fun and easy build! My three year old thinks they are so cool! Definitely recommend!

Love It! Recommend it for skilled builders

I bought this for myself on a whim. It is definitely for builders that have a bit of skill and patience. The set is beautiful. The information about the flowers and the materials used is amazing. They are a lovely size for displaying!

Beautiful Build

This was my first lego kit and I’m addicted! Very relaxing to build and the finished product is beautiful.

Booklet

Why the black background on the booklet? It is such a pain to see. It is enough that the pieces are tiny. But to show them with black background does not help.

Instructions have black pages

I've had a few sets with the black background on the pages. Its makes it REALLLY hard to see dark colored pieces. I did like the little bits of part history on some of the pages. Fun addition. The flowers are really pretty and I love all the details. I recommend some glass marbles or something in the vase bc once built they are very heavy and don't stay arranged.
