Would Not RecommendIt is nice they have these to fix the locks it is just bad that this is the 3rd one I had to replace at our house and the locks are just 5 years old. The metal wears out and will not allow lock to operate properly. The have a softer metal in contact with brass. Just a bad design or they want to sell spare parts.

Would RecommendThe latch on my 10-year-old Kwikset exterior lock set would not retract enough to close the door, so I purchased this replacement exterior latch AGAIN to fix my lock. Sure, this replacement worked great. But this is the 3rd latch in 10 years. NOT ACCEPTABLE, Kwikset!!!
