Handy, must have tool

I purchased this to assemble a bookshelf. It helps make tight and secure joints. I'm glad I purchased this and will use it very often in the future.

Perfect for need

Needed to creat some shelf extensions this jig was able to accurately and uniformly allow for expert drilling. Made for small projects and weekend carpenters. Will use several times before wears outs.

Must have woodworking tool

I recently purchased the Kreg Mini pocket hole kit and couldn’t be happier. I used it to construct a wood gate. It is very simple to use and provides a tight joint without the wood splitting. As the instructions state, always clamp the device when using. This is definitely superior to toenailing.

Awesome

O was fighting to get the angles right with just a drill and this made it easy and really fast. I didn't have to fight the drill or the wood. Love this simple fix.

Great Tool!

Simple but effective. If you need to attach two pieces of wood perpendicularly, I'd highly recommend this simple tool. I used for attaching stair rail uprights, and it worked like a charm!

Easy to use bit stays sharp great product

This is a good jig for small jobs, if you are doing something like a table or other large furniture I would suggest the two hole jig because it has a clamp spot on it and it comes with a guide for depth of material and screw length.

Drill bit broke after a few uses

Pros: Easy to use. Cons: The tip of the drill bit broke after a few uses. The cost of just the drill bit is nearly similar with the entire kit.

Works great

Make sure your clamp is really tight. Mine was not. It slipped, I put my hand down on it. When the drill started li flipped the jig over and it grabbed my hand and I had to back it out. 3 stitches later and a scolding from my wife made me think this. Why didn't I just tighten the clamp back. A lesson learned. Other than that, I love using it.

Great for smaller projects

An affordable alternative to the larger models, but requires hand alignment. I only needed to make 3 joins, so this was a great option. It works great for 3/4" stock, the thickness it was designed for, but would be more difficult for other thicknesses.

Excellent Tool

Kreg products are pricey but well made. You pay for a quality product.
