Works flawlessly when making good secure joints when screwing together two boards. Turned a homemade table job into a fun, very sturdy, project.

I've seen these around for years and finally picked one up. I love it. It makes joining so much easier and fun. Would highly recommend this tool.

Does a great job

The product itself it great. However, I feel that it should come with some sort of clamp so that it doesn't slide. Even if you have one at home it might suffice but it would just be nice to have one that comes with the jig.

Already have one off brand jig, needed bit.

I already have a jig, which I used instead of included jig this time. Like that for just a bit more, go the bit I needed plus the jig. Either the bit is over priced, or this was a bargin. You decide.

Kreg jig

I love the idea of this product. The need to have better markings on where to place the jig for different widths of wood. This turned into a guessing game until I figured it out for myself.

Pocket Holes Made Easy

I never tried to build something which would require pocket holes and the project I bought this for also did not really need them but it works so great and easy that I will use it more often. One thing is to never lose the manual since the position of the jig on your work piece depends on material thickness and without the manual it would be hard to know how far away to position the jig from the edge.

Easy to use with a solid clamp

This is a great product and has greatly expanded my possibilities of furniture to make myself. I used this jig to build a small side table. You will need a solid clamp to use this easily. The jig is very solid, though, and the adjustable collar on the bit makes drilling simple. $20 seems a little steep, but I'll get that much value out of it after a couple more projects.

Simple but Brilliant

Hats off to those who came up with this. I used to make oak furniture using a dowel jig but this little wonder tops that. I needed a solution for fabricating shed doors made up of T-111 siding and 1X4's. I discovered this little jig online at Lowes. Came up with perfectly aligned screw holes, perfect joints and perfect doors. Buy the pocket screws that go along with the kit that utilize a square drive bit. May get back to furniture and cabinet making with this jig in my shop now.

I can't imagine getting any of the larger sets. I have done 25 holes and each one worked out perfectly. Just need a decent clamp of your own.

I love this jig! I consider myself an amateur wood worker, I am completely self taught. I have been building corn hole boards and picnic tables for about 3 years. Great Value

This does exactly what it's meant to do. It drills a nice pocket hole. Not having any stops is both a plus and a minus. I might buy a more expensive version from Kreg down the road in order to have more features. But you can't beat the results this gives you for the price. Just take your time setting it up to drill consistent holes. I've only used it on one project so far, but the results were definitely worth the money spent.

You're such a tool!

This tool is AWESOME! I had no problems using this tool, determining the depth for the different size boards was simple. Before buying this product I read so many reviews, mostly the negative ones (which as you can see are very few), because I already had a strong recommendation, and I found that everything that was said negatively was more than likely an operator error. This product is durable, high quality, and good for all DIY'ers!

Works as described

I like to use this took in locations where my clamp pocket jig can't go to. This allows me to put the pocket holes where I need to. The one challenge is remembering the setback for the depth. Not a huge deal but it effected my score on ease of use. Also the hex screw isn't standard and is a challenge if you lose the key (like I did).

Wonderful

I was a bit hesitant, as I have seen this product on TV, and we all know that the "as seen on TV" is normally junk. THIS THING WORKS. One of the best tools a wood worker can have. A bit of practice, and you are off and running. With one word, Wonderful!
