Purchased this in store to replace a small tank leak at the flapper valve seal of American Standard Cadet 3 toilet. It would still slowly leak. Replaced this item with a new fluid master 540 and leak was eliminated.

Would RecommendFits good after adjusting the flush and the legs that attach to the flush valve. Be sure to watch how the legs are turned so the flapper goes down and completely seals. At first it was off-set and was not sealing.

Would Not RecommendI bought two of these because they were described as being more high-end and that they would last longer. One of the two was broken when I opened the package. I returned it and got a different one. It broke on installation. So two of the three that I purchased, were defective. I’m going to go back and buy the cheapest version I can find since there’s no point in paying more.
