What Customers Are Saying
The product has received mixed reviews. Some users found it adjustable, stable, and easy to use, making woodworking tasks more convenient and safer. However, many reported significant quality and design issues, such as poor-quality welds, breakable plastic components, and problems with the height adjustment mechanism. Several users had to modify or reinforce the stand to make it functional, and some even returned the product or converted it for other uses. The overall consensus is that the product can be useful for some, but the quality and design flaws make it a risky purchase that may require additional work or fail prematurely.

Would Not RecommendT first, I was going to rate 5 stars but I usually wait until I’ve used an item for a little while. After my experiences, I was going to give 1 star. Now I have settled on 3 stars... possibly 2. The problem is, like other reviews, poor quality and design. The stand is fairly heavy dusty but the bolt configuration that holds the feet on the legs is pretty stupid design. It constantly loosens and comes off. I bought some LOCKTITE Thread lock and cured that (at least for a while). The other problem...

poor product
Would Not RecommendScrews constantly come loose, falls apart. Have bought 4 and they all so the same thing. Would not reccommend. Soend the little extra and get a better product.
Poorly made equipment
Would Not RecommendI purchased 2 of these because they were the only option I could find. I read the poor ratings that others had given these, so took precautions to not overstress the parts. After about 15 uses, during which I was very careful not to overtighten the locking handle, the locking handles on both stands gave way. I had to drill holes in the legs and insert nails to set the height. Also, the rubber feet that go on the end of the legs are not sized properly and constantly come off. I tried gluing them ...
idea is geat.
Would Not RecommendThis thing does not work well at all. Broke the first time i used.
Not bad
Would RecommendGood but had to put duct tape on the roller due to the fact it is too smooth for any aluminum product to stay on
Worth more than the nominal price.
Would RecommendMuch better quality than what I had from a truck and tractor store. I like the leg level screw on the bottom too.
Solid, great value for the price
Would RecommendI haven't found a reason not to like it yet, for what it is! Now, I wish the roller was removable but I can get around that with a little duct tape when I just want to use it as a stationary support. The biggest benefit is the max height it will adjust to (for different height saw tables or tables saws). It is solid, and well made.
Great Stand
Would RecommendFor the price this stand has been great. The stand has been sturdy and folds up for storage easily. I have been nothing but happy with Kobalt brand tools.
You get what you pay for
I needed some additional support for large panels of plywood on my tablesaw. At ~$25 each, these seemed like they'd do the job, and they did...after a fashion. They are hard to get to the right height, which is compounded by the strange lettered scale on the upright tube --that's right, not 1", 2", 3", etc. (or even 1cm, 2cm, 3cm...) but A, B, C, D, E--nearly useless. They are also very light for the job they're supposedly designed to do, so my plywood would often catch under the roller and knoc...

broke first use
The thread for the tightening knob is just a lightly spot welded nut, which broke off on first use. Will get something a bit more durable.
works perfectly
Would RecommendCheap, but effecient. Will end up buykng a couple more
Worked for one season then broke
Would Not RecommendI bought this last year to add to my workshop and it worked well enough until the other day. For context, I only get out into my shop once or twice a week and I use these things even more rarely so it's not like I worked it to death. As I was snugging down the handle that secures the sliding bar, the four TINY spot welds that hold the threaded section that the handle goes into in place gave out and the handle came off in my hand. I was NOT exerting a great deal of torque so there's no reason thi...
Kobalt Junk
Would Not RecommendThe people who designed this for assembly needs their head examined!!
Lowered Quality
Would Not RecommendBought one of these 3 years ago, worked great until I stripped the nut on the tension handle. Bought two more the other day and both of them broke in the same place, the nut that holds the tension handle snapped off due to poor welds. It was minimum effort applied, while putting the tool together. Unfortunately I will not purchase or recommend these in the future, but Lowe's will not lose my business.
