Good utility knife - Lowe's upholds guarantee

I got this knife before undergoing a major house remodel, then a move, then another house remodel. It's been a great asset and I'm very happy with my purchase. The screw that holds the blade holder in eventually came loose and stripped out causing the knife to fall apart. I brought it back to Lowe's about two years after purchasing it and they replaced it with a new one without question.

BRING IT BACK PLEASE

I've been looking for this everywhere! It is the perfect small compact size and the feel of the push/pull retractable mechanism is SO smooth, it's very satisfying - almost like an ADHD fidget toy. Really hope Lowe's brings this product back and stocks this again

The ladies even call me when I had not made it to the counter from the parking lot in a designated amount of time. They had my item ready for me. They made it so easy & they were so super nice.

Falls apart

Maybe I just got an unusually bad one, but I had it a month and used it 2-3 times, in which time the little screw holding the sides together backed out and fell on the ground somewhere, and the little pin that keeps the blade from falling out fell out, had to use a piece of copper wire to hold the blade in. I will be returning to try something a little better built

great buy, if you can find it

I bought this two pack of this compact utility knife, and I use it daily, love it. I bought a comparable product from Gerber, but I prefer the kobalt. Only problem is that I can't find it in the stores any more. Bought just one pack to see if I liked the knife, went in a few weeks later to buy five or six packs to lay in a stock pile in case of loss or breakage, but I can't find any. Really annoying.

These are very compact and fun. Not the right knife for every job, but super convenient to carry around with the low profile. Feels nice in hand, fair price. Have one set at home and one in my car. Very good Kobalt.
