Not all it’s cracked up to be

Pressure is low, range is small. Better to buy a powered ( electric or gas) unit

Wanted to love, but Kobalt didnt give enohgh love

Stiff trigger, soap bottle didnt work, and the battery life was terrible. I was excited for this product and the 40V line, but its just a miss. Fantastic product idea, just not very well executed. I used this to wash one car. Had to mix soap with water in a bucket since the soap bottle would not engage the soap. Also used a 4 aH batter from the blower/trimmer combo. After soap and wash, battery was fully drained.

Poor battery life, stiff trigger

I agree with the other reviewers that the trigger is stiff and awkward to use. You cannot relax your grip and my hand cramps up after a few minutes of use. Also, a fully-charged battery runs out after about 10 minutes. That was enough for three lawn chairs and a 6x6 square of the concrete patio. Maybe this would be great for someone with a boat or camping where there are no outlets, since there is an intake hose in the box meant to be used in a bucket or other water source. Soap dispenser and battery life

I have read people having trouble with the trigger, but I’m fine with mine. However the soap dispenser is pure garbage, and battery life is short I had to stop halfway through my wash. Although overall you get what you paid for. With that said I still like it I don’t think I’ll return it. IF YOU’RE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE SOAP DISPENSER. Do what I did, I filled up a small bucket with tons of soap with water and placed the hose in, It works amazingly. Like a self carwash soap dispenser.

Absurd Trigger

A good idea gone horribly wrong. The trigger was so stiff I could only hold it down for thirty seconds or so at a time before having to switch hands. I had my wife try it and she literally could not pull the trigger hard enough for it to start. I am baffled how this design made it into production. I speculate, sarcastically, a prototype wasn't tested, it was tested by Bruce Banner (on a bad day), or it wasn't built to spec. I don't see how any reasonable person would think the trigger pressure...

Great Portable Power Washer

This Kobalt hand held power washer isn't the strongest power washer you can get but it gets the job done. Works with the other 40v Kobaly batteries.

Stiff trigger and useless detergent bottle

The oversight here is disappointing. When other reviews here say the trigger is stiff, they aren't playing around. Your finger will reach the point of exhaustion just holding it down for too long, thereby making the idea of washing with a sponge and bucket FAR more appealing and less strenuous. Second issue, the detergent bottle is useless and works when it wants to. Spray wand missing

Bought this morning. Opened package with anticipation of cleaning concrete. The my dismay the wand was missing. Will be returning and hopefully getting a box with a wand.

Wanted to like it.

I wanted to like this pressure washer but it’s heavy and the trigger if difficult to operate.

The plastic quick connect for hoses are junk and leak everywhere. Poor design.

Good, but needs improvements

This power washer is easy to whip out for a quick cleaning job. With the lower PSI rating over higher powered ones, i find it ideal for washing cars and not blasting paint off. This also doesn’t use a ton of water which is nice. With that said, lower PSI also means less water. So if you are trying to clean a porch or driveway or other large areas, it will take a while with this unit. My biggest complaint about this power washer is the trigger and trigger safety. Terrible Trigger

2-1/2 Stars Overall not bad for the price, but the trigger is an ergonomic nightmare. One quick car wash and my trigger finger was not happy. 600psi seems like it would do more than it actually does too. I dont expect this to hang with the 1,000+psi gas models, but i did expect slighlty better performance. Also, wish it was balanced better too. If the battery is not in it, it will tip over.

Im a Kobalt fan but !!

Im a Kobalt fan who owns a lot of Kobalt tools both manual and power, including self propelled mower, so needless to say I really wanted to like this. But after 15 min of use, my daughter and I both agreed that this needs to be returned. It has less pressure than our gaden hose, the motor seems to get overheated and stop, and the saftey button is not ambidextrious. It will be fine if you are left handed. Sorry Lowes, I really did try to like this!
