Because of the weight not great for hill work.

It did the job quit well but was heavy. 2 gallons was sufficient for working on a hill.

Easy to handle and opearate!

Single use product

Used once last spring for weed control, drained and stored in a warm garage. Battery kept plugged in. Took it out this year to find out that despite the battery being fully charged, it no longer turns on. I see now that Lowe’s has dropped this product. I’m hoping that customer service will at least replace it with a lsimilar one as it was a very expensive single use last year.

Leaks right after I was given this sprayer last year due to design of the tank and how its held onto the metal frame with crews that interject into the tank itself. LEAKS!!!! Unable to return with out a receipt (gift) so this warranty is useless.

Unit was used twice. When attempting to use a third time, the nozzle failed. There is a split down the side. Evidently it's a common problem as the replacement part is out of stock. When checking places to buy it I came across several reviews. The split happens in the same area so this is an indication of manufacturing quality issues. There's no time frame when or IF this part will become available.

No wand replacement available for over a year part failed in six months call customer service today no help asked to talk to supervisor they were in meetings. Will never shop in lowes again

Lowes made it right, spayer has been finicky.

I liked the product, but it took me 3x of taking it back to get one that worked right.

DON"T BUY KOBALT Products

A wise person once told me many years ago, that all companies have problems, but what separates the good from the not so good companies is how they fix their problems. Lowes has TERRIBLE at customer service. I have one of their backpack sprayers, and they won't honor the 5 year warranty because I can't produce the receipt. I have experienced this before with another Kobalt product (a cordless lawn mower) that died two weeks after the warranty expired and Kobalt customer service was NO HELP. ...

Two years after I purchased this sprayer, the wand handle sprung a pin hole leak, and there is no replacement part available from Lowes. This is my 2nd time I have had a similar problem with a Kobalt piece of equipment. Works good for a short period of time, and then something simple fails to make it unusable. I won't be buying any more Kobalt equipment.

Works great, great quality product, used it about 20-times so far and works as advertised, no problems or issues like some of the other reviewers have reported.

I have had my sprayer for about 3 years. This was the first Kobalt 40v tool I purchased. I have bought several since. This sprayer has served me well. It has worked since day 1 and has never let me down. It has a great spray range. I have used it for insecticides, herbicides, and also with chlorine for pressure washing. Trash, which there was a No Star option for review. Had to get it replaced twice for the battery, and once for the motor not working. ALL IN THE SAME YEAR. Do not buy.
