Does not fit Kobalt 20 in 40v mower from 2018

Blade did not fit. Had to return it.

We bought a Kobalt 20 inch 40Volt Max electric lawn mower a couple years ago. I went to Lowes to buy a replacement blade and it was not available in the store. I had to order a blade online and it took a week to ship from Tennessee. When I received it, the holes in the blade did not line up with the tabs on the shaft, even though the package said it was the correct blade for our mower. I read the reviews on Lowe’s site for this product, and was immediately struck by the almost equal balance of positive and negative feedback. The unfavorable commentators were astounded that the blade did not fit their mower, even though it was marketed for the exact model. Either Lowes.com is wrong or user manual is.

Owner's manual for the Kobalt 40V Max Model 4132845/3809909 says the blade part number is KLMB 124-03, but if you search that P/N on Lowes.com, it says that KLMB 124-03 is for the 24V mower and that it will not fit the 40V model. So which is it???

Doesn’t fit 40V 20 inch that it specifies

Would give zero stars if I could. This says it fits my mower on the package. It doesn’t. The holes next to the center bolt on the blade are circular but my mower has arrow shaped.

The correct blade for a nice Kobalt electric mower

Local Lowes doesn't stock this blade, so I needed to order it. It arrived in just a few days and was nicely packaged to protect it. I checked the blade and it was in balance. I also sharpened it a bit more than the way it came. It fit and installation only took a couple of minutes. It should work fine for the upcoming grass cutting season. I got this blade to replace one on a mower that I bought used. The seller told me in advance that the blade should be replaced, because "it works, but not well." Swapping the blades took less than a minute, and it works great.

Perfect fit.

This replacement blade was a perfect fit. It measures 19 1/4 in, exactly the same as the original blade and is the right fit for the 20in. 40V Max mower. The part numbers match and this blade is even referenced in the user's manual that came with the mower.
