Would RecommendI do like the hard outer shell which is very durable. The padding inside keeps the front of your knees comfortable, plus the straps stay in place after adjusting. What I don't like about these is the top strap lays across the bend in the back of the knee and cuts into you. The discomfort becomes so great that I ended up not even attaching the top strap to the knee pad.

Would Not RecommendThe outside surface is too hard for installing luxury vinyl plank, and I couldn’t keep these in place when I got up and down repeatedly. I’ve already scratched them up, so I’ll keep them to try with gardening.

These knee pads work really well as far as knee protection goes but I find that they shift on my knees because they’er too narrow and that gets annoying.

Would RecommendVery comfortable knee pads. The straps were easy to adjust; the plastic material infront was very durable. This made the LVP installation easier. I would certainly buy this particular knee pads again, but it seems i will have to wait for a long time coz’ these pads are made to last!
