I primarily utilize this tool set to test batteries, test continuity, and get a reading on AC lines in large facilities. All performs well, comes with batteries, test leads, and a good package deal. Its build feels solid, accurate readings, simple usage, and great package for beginners.

This does everything it’s says on the box. It’s well build, my only complaint is, that it doesn’t come with a bag or carrying case.

Having all 3 pieces in one package became a no brainer. Used it as soon as I came home and worked flawlessly. No need to spend more than this ($30.00). For most folks, this is all you need. Craftsman for 1 piece was $69.00. Kobalt is King.

Red lead has to be forced on.

The outlet tester and live circuit tester both worked fine. The problem was the red lead for the meter. The hole on the end that plugs into the meter is too small. You have to really force it on such that you need a tool to pull it off. I had to use a small pry bar! The black lead went on easily. Not sure why they had to make the red lead a different size. Packed it up and will return it.
