Bought for the waterproof seal in humid Texas
Would RecommendI got tired of rusting tools and rubber grips getting tacky and molding. Some tools are antiques. This solved all of that. I dropped in a silica gel pack for good measure. This was an add-on to the 3 box stack with the rolling bottom. This was added as an identical top box.

No dividers
Would RecommendThe picture on Lowe's item web page showing two dividers is not accurate as the toolbox that I received only includes the removable tray and no dividers. The pictured dividers were one of three reasons for purchasing this toolbox.
Decent box but does lack a few things…
Would RecommendThe box itself is sturdy with sturdy latches. The organizers inside are cheap thin plastic and crack easily. I’d recommend just pitching them in the trash from the start. Kobalt has designed the box to be able to add attachments on the sides, although it’s been over a year since release and still no attachments. Also no small parts organizers to add on which is a pretty big deal considering every other brand has them. I would not pay a full $50 retail for this box but it does what it needs to.
This holds more then it looks like it would.
