Would Not RecommendBattery life did not last long. 15 minutes top from a full charge as a brand new battery. The 4 hr ones last forever so I say spend the bit more and buy the 4 hr battery vs this 2 hr.

Would Not RecommendPoor quality. Only lasts a year then only works until 50% charge and has to be charged again. The more powerful battery lasts even less time. Expensive to have to get a new battery every year. Unfortunately I have many Kobalt tools so I'm stuck unless I want to spend the money to get all new tools.

Would RecommendThis battery helps with a lot of tasks. It’s a 2AH battery and is available in 4AH, 6AH, and 8AH versions. Each AH (amp hour) increase should generally result in longer duration of use (though that’s not guaranteed) and in a heavier battery. A heavier battery could affect how maneuverable and/or balanced that a tool is to use—as well as how generally comfortable or ergonomic a tool is to handle or to use.
