Parts good. Case bad.

I can't really knock the price of this kit as there are a lot of bits for the price. However....the case is absolutely horrible. Many of the bits are held in cradles that swing out. To prevent them from swinging out when opened, there are little yellow hooks (you can see them on the images) that supposedly hold the cradles in place. Well, they don't. grab a bit, pus the cradles back down, close the case, open the case and most of the bits in the lid have fallen out and are now mixed in with...

Multiple broke after a few months

Half the box of bits broke over the course of a year. Not worth it

It's great having everything in one container and not having to hunt in several places. The case is of a nice quality.

Good value, TERRIBLE bit holders

There is no way the Buyer has ever tried to use these terrible clips that are supposed to hold the bits in place. This is the poorest design - the bits just fall out. No, the clips do not easily lock the holders back into place, only a couple actually function. Also, outside clip pops off. Do not buy this kit. I'm amazed they are selling it.

I usually love Kobalt, but...

I usually love Kobalt brand tools, but this set has been horrible so far. The first two torx head bits I used the tips broke off inside the screw heads (and yes, they were the right size torx for the screws). All I was doing was driving deck screws into pine (making a work bench) and with the design of these they're obviously made for use in an impact (I'm using a regular, run-of-the-mill Dewalt impact) so there's no reason they should be so brittle and fragile. I bought one about a year ago. The bits lasted and I still use them. I lost some so this is my second kit. I absolutely love this kit. The drill bits with the HEX end are my favorite. Other brands are very inacurate and break. These are precise and do not wobble at all. I dropped my drill with a 1/8th drill bit HEX in it. I thugh for sure it would have been broken. It was not.
