It's light, tough, packs up tightly, and has just the right amount of cushion. I use this when I'm training in the field. It's great for a cot or on flat ground. Works decent on slightly rocky surfaces, but it's only so thick and can't "hide" anything larger than a 1/2" rock from your back.
