Locking mechanism Works!
The locking and unlocking is everything for a good day with a tape, I’ve used the lever lock’s for 40 years, because the locking mechanism on tapes suck, and only get worse with age, they get stuck after getting gritty from drywall dust concrete powder all of it, this thing locks quickly and easily and unlocks easily as well👍

Would Not RecommendHorrible tape measure. At around 13’ it is so curved it S nearly impossible to get a true measurement. I’ll never buy another one.
