Full Contact Tester
Would Not RecommendDid not work as advertised. The supposed "non"-contact tester must make full contact in order to register. On a lamp cord, it must touch the hot side of the wire in order to register. No response at all if held on a receptacle. Bought a similarly featured Sperry and it chirps like a bird if it is within two inches of a hot wire or receptacle. My first Klein disappointment.

Would RecommendThese two products were very helpful when doing basic electrical work around the house. The pen tester helped with identifying which wires were load vs. line. Always remember to test the pen on a known live wire/receptacle before and after trying to confirm a wire/receptacle has no power. The outlet tester helped me learn which outlets in my house were grounded and ungrounded. I used these tools to install several receptacles and a ceiling light, with great success!
