Great box, perhaps the best of the three MODboxes!

I absolutely love this drawer box. Each of the drawers moves smoothly and the dividers are much more robust than Milwaukee's. Note the middle of the bottom drawer is raised to avoid the latch area, so it's roughly half the depth of all other compartments. The locking bar is genius and looks to be immune from the fatigue issues that plague PACKOUT. I hope Klein comes out with a four drawer box, then they'd have a complete line to battle Milwaukee. I love the three drawer but it would be nice...

PACKOUT lacks a single drawer box; buy THIS one.

Very high build quality, excellent drawer slides, and robust dividers make this an excellent choice. PACKOUT lacks a single drawer box, so I would recommend buying one of the third-party adapters and clicking this box into your stack instead. Construction is rugged and the drawer itself operates very smoothly. The locking bar is simple and yet works effectively and will not be subject to the stress failures of the PACKOUT bar. Highly recommended.

I wish the unused volumes were optimized

Best current set there is!!! I would like to see unused volume space optimized as to reduce the size of each MODbox unit a few inches. Milwaukee sets are decent too but they have their own caveats that make ModBox the better choice for most people.

Read before buying

I bought this product having high expectations for Klein, but was sadly disappointed. The materials feel very flimsy, and when I put weight in the drawers, not even coming close to exceeding the weight limit, you can tell they are flexing. I currently have the set up in the back of a pick up truck that has a truck cap on and moisture is still getting into the boxes.

the bottom drawer could not be fully utilized, and each drawer height was lower. I returned it because I wanted a drawer only box stack. too many compromises.

The combo of this box atop the rolling drawer toolbox is perhaps the perfect combination of providing lots of thinner drawers for smaller items with the large drawer on the roller providing storage for your big tools. The reduced-depth middle section in the bottom drawer is still perfect for holding hand tools, screwdrivers and the like. The only issue is that even though the bottom drawer is reinforced to reduce drag, it doesn't take much to make that drawer drag on the frame anyway - far...

This was my second addition to my MODbox collection and I like it! The three drawers are size enough to hold lots of tools, and I still have room for more. I use the top drawer for mostly markers pencils, measuring tape and pocket screwdriver etc. The middle drawer is my go to drawer, with my multi meter and electrical testing tools and wire strippers and some MODbox cases. The dividers work very well and I'm able to keep everything organized and separate. The bottom drawer I use for less used ...
