Kitchen Aid Knew about this defect

I have a very light use for this attachment on my kitchen aid mixer. I use it once about every two months to grind 5-6 Pounds of chuck beef. This is is cracked and dangerous to use. Kitchen Aid knew everything about the defect in manufacturing and is quiet about it instead of honoring the defect and refunding customers. That is how credible Kitchen Aid is.

Love this

I use this often between making the filling for my homemade tortellini or making my own italian sausage. This is such a time saver. I received this as a gift and didn't think I would use it as often as I do.

Works Great but Doesn't Stand Uo

Had it for several years, We use it for stuffing sausage only, we grind with a different grinder. had to replace the funnel due to it cracking and now the body of the grinder is cracking,,,

Doesnt fit. Damaged my stand mixer. Do not ever purchase

Easy to Use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My other half bought this around Christmas time so we could make our own hamburger blend. It works amazing! We ground up about 4 lbs worth in a short amount of time. The unit is Super easy to clean! We kept the box to store it when not in use.

I love the attachments

I love grating my own cheese, and grinding my own meat

Very Unsatisfied

We just used this for the first time to attempt to grind apples and cooked venison. Apple juice backed into the machine and ran out the bottom of the mixer with oil. Grinding cubes of meat it kept clogging and we had to take it apart and clean it 4 times for 2 lbs of meat. Called “Customer Service” and call wait time was 1 hour 45 minutes, no option to ask for return call.

broke on first use

I bought this and it broke on the first time I used it. I am now buying the metal one.

Cheap plastic - DON'T BUY!!

The plastic cap for the grinder broke on my first use. This is the second attachment I bought and the same cap broke on the first one also. I'm going to try a metal unit. Piece of cheap garbage!

Broke on 3rd use

During my third time using it the cap that holds the blade splir.

Plastic Housing Split

The plastic housing on my grinder attachment split down the length of it. This didn't happen during use (only used once) but while in the storage box.

Broke, sadly

I got this because it cost less than the metal grinder. But ironically, the metal part broke, not the plastic

Best kitchen attachment if you love to cook

I have had my current meat Grindr for at least 20 years, and we find it so useful I am ordering replacement.

Cheep plastic

Do not ever buy plastic version it will brake after few time using it with meat.

Lasted 6 years using it 3 - 4 times a year.

I had this attachment 6 years using it very few times a year. Always in the box when not in use. Just went to use it and discover the main housing cracked. Not sure what caused it. Maybe caused by placing in the dishwasher?? Believe me, it was not "over used" by any means.

Missing Parts
