Quiet dishwasher that cleans effectively.

This KitchenAid dishwasher cleans dishes, glasses, pots and pans orders of magnitude better than our old unit (different brand), and it is so quiet that it can hardly be heard. We are very pleased with the roominess and the third rack. An excellent purchase.

Lowes can't even replace a handle. Insane.

Sent me a dishwasher without a handle. I have called multiple times, to the store, to the helpline. They have offered to REPLACE THE DISHWASHER INSTEAD OF SENDING ME A FREAKING HANDLE. That's how much this company is wasting your money. Instead of having a parts department they will literally offer to replace a brand new $1000 machine instead of sending a freaking handle. It's awesome!

I love that it washes so well. There is no residue in the tub. My dishes are the cleanest ever. It's not as pretty as the old model but I don't care. It gets the job done.

Poor performance. Cheap for Kitchenaid quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottom rack is flimsy and often pulls off track when loading dishes. Afraid weight on dishes is too much for front door to hold. I imagine the hinges will eventually fail. Pre-rinsed dishes do not clean on normal cycle. Normal cycle very long to complete. Does not have traditional expected kitchenaid quality. Maybe made by a cheap subcontractor.

Good price but will take long time for ininstal

Took 1 week to be available. Can not schedule installation on purchase. Lots of red tape and up sales. Would have been over 1 month to get delivery and installation. Tried to call and change purchase system for employees is difficult and most employees do not understand what they are doing.

Great at cleaning, could use some rack improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cleaning process is great and it is a very quiet machine but the rack designs could use some improvement. The dividers on the third rack for silverware could be a little taller, the silverware sets a a 45 degree angle in the slots but as you open and close the drawer they tend to tip over or fall out of the dividers. The second rack dividers could be a little closer together, maybe it's made for larger dishes but the regular size bowls tend...

It opens itself so we can SEE it's done, and the clean light stays on until it's closed again, so hubby doesn't have to ask me if it's clean! Something very satisfying about orderly utensils on a rack instead of utensil basket barf -- but the basket came too just in case. Also, most importantly, no more prewashing. This thing actually cleans like advertised!

never use lowes to buy an appliance

it was returned because it was damaged...and yet you still are trying to bill me on my CC...how nice

Great rack layout!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this installed last month and I love it! The rack layout, separate utensil rack and sprayer arm are a great innovation. Without the need for that pesky utensil basket I have so much space! Excellent purchase!!

No one bothered to tell me that they cannot put the HOT coils in the new DW like they used to due to safety issues. Love It!!
