It cleans so well, and the extra shelf for small things is perfect! It has that KitchenAid upscale look too. We couldn’t be more pleased. It was a mid-range price with a top range quality.

Size and other great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our Kitchen Aid Dishwasher a month and it is amazing. First, it is hard to believe it is the same size as our old dishwasher as the arrangement of the racks allows for more items. Secondly, the third rack for knives and utensils sure gets those items cleaner than in the silverware rack on the bottom. Finally, the dishwasher does a much better job at drying our dish ware.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KitchenAid 3rd Level Jet Rack Dishwasher is super quiet at 41 DBA, with 40+ jets for a spotless cleaning and a handy 3 rd rack for extra space. I can barely hear this dishwasher running, I actually have to put my ear up to it to know that it’s running. It leaves my dishes sparkly clean without streaks. Very quiet and convenient third tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have the dishwasher a week now and are pleased with how quiet it is when running it's cycles. The dishwasher is easy to load and unload and we love the third tray for extra convenience. We also trust the Kitchen Aide brand.

Great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love this dishwasher. The extra level allows us to load more dishes. It is really quiet too as I run it overnight. The only thing is that it only has a 4 hour delay. There is no way to customize the delay setting.

"Stainless" door rusted in one year

I have always loved KitchenAid dishwashers - quiet, stainless tub, easy to replace items. This is true for the KDFE104 as well. BUT, there is one bit difference. In less than one year, the front "stainless" door has rusted in two spots - where the steam vent is located (upper left) and the entire bottom section (feels like the panel slides into a slot). It looks awful. We think this must be a design flaw - never had this with our other KitchenAid dishwashers and seeing alot of complaints...

3rd rack useful, vent in front so no damage to any

Our old dishwasher had the vent on the side and over the years, it has damaged the drawer next to it. The vent on this dishwasher is on the front where the handle is. Because of this feature, I'm ok with not having a towel handle. The 3rd top rack is very useful for my small cups and bowls that my young daughters still use. Better than no dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher fit into the existing space with no modifications and it filled the space very well. The lights illuminate for the various functions. It holds water and after a few hours the water is drained which indicates the pump and water valve are functioning. After a few hours of operating the door pops open by itself, imagine the surprise when no genie appeared. Now if they made a toilet stool that did your job for you I might be interest...

Best dishwasher imaginable!

You can put things that are smaller and would normally get thrown around the dishwasher in this section. It is also VERY quiet compared to any dishwasher I’ve ever seen. Dishwasher is nice but it was improperly installed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher itself is so nice. However, the installation was poor and it has leaked since it was installed. So we can not use it. I have spent two hours and fourty five mins on the phone trying to reach the service department about it. Both times unsuccessful. So we are at a loss.

Beyond Amazing!

Quiet and cool features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m loving my new Kitchenaid dishwasher! The wash and dry cycles are phenomenal. Also, the third rack is great for utensils and cup lids. Above all, when cycles are complete and drying is done, it automatically pops open the dishwasher door for the dishes to cool down to put away- love this feature! Also, very quiet. 10/10!
