Difficult to load

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our Kitchenaid dishwasher for a couple of months now and we continue to struggle with the loading of the dishwasher. The design of the racks is nothing short of pathetic. We have many Kitchenaid appliances in our kitchen and all the others are very good equipment. The new dishwasher is an exception due to the loading of the dishwasher which is a nightmare. We previously had a Kitchenaid dishwasher which failed after about 6 year...

Kitchen Aid has good quality kitchen appliances

Has all the features we wanted. Very, very quiet - you barely tell it is on. Installer was friendly and efficient. Our last Kitchen Aid lastt for 29 years; let's hope this one does well too.

What I love about the washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how quiet the washer is. It is so quiet you believe that it’s not working. Love the third rack on top one of the reasons why I bought the washer. Love the silverware caddies with the slots. So easy to put silverware away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the KitchenAid to replace a Frigidaire that was only five years old. I have another KitchenAid product that is very old and still operating perfect. I am very pleased with the dishwasher. It really works perfectly and is very quiet.

So far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only been 2 weeks, but so far, so good. Whisper quite and holds more than our previous GE dishwasher. Hoping this one lasts more than 8 years. They no longer include an Owners Manual, just a quick start guide sheet. Read reviews.

Initial review.

Since we just started to use this dishwasher I can't review it properly but I can mention that the included instructions were extremely poor. Considering the cost of this dishwasher it should have included good installation instructions as well as at least quick operating instructions. It also didn't clearly indicate that a critical 90 deg elbow connector foe the inlet water hose was required. It instead was buried in the fine print.

Too loud

It is unusually loud .. you can hear the water spraying and hitting the door and the sides … I’m not exaggerating.. the entire built is cheaper than our older model that I had purchaded over 10 years ago .. I’m blown away .. also , no more light inside … they are cutting corners and now have lost a valuable customer .. both our homes have ALL KITCHEN AID appliances.. NO MORE

Many Wash Settings to Clean & Sanitize

However, with 11 separate setting selections, it is overly complicated. That is over 1,000 possible permutations. So, the run cycle can extend to more than three hours. Seems a bit excessive. And, of course with more features, the price goes up. Got to ask yourself, are all these options really necessary? Does it really make a difference in getting clean dishes ...

Fantastic Layout and cleaning ability (so far)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this installed just 2 weeks ago. We have used all 3 cleaning level racks and found that the dishes get perfectly clean in all three tiers. I love the layout for dishes on both main racks!

The quietest dishwasher

The third rack is very convenient and it kinda freaked us out a little when we found the door open after we had started it. Come to find out this is a feature to aid in drying. The door opens to let out steam. On top of being so quiet you don’t think it is running. Bottom line best dishwasher we have ever had.
