It has the great features of the third shelf which I love because it’s great for plastic and it cracks me up every time the door opens when the door cycle is done. I think it’s so funny, but it really is so much better than my old one.

Happy with our new dishwasher

We just received an email with what ll the different settings actually do which has been helpful, but would have been great to have had this right away. The users manual did not include this info.

Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about 3 weeks ago. I really miss my towel bar that was on my old KitchenAid--it was so handy! This dishwasher does a good job & is very quiet. Not so sure about the 3rd rack yet--so far I'm not a fan. Maybe once I learn to use it I'll like it. Also am trying to get used to the front controls & am surprised it didn't come with a manual.

Cleans Well

Loading is now a challenge, experimenting where and how to place our cereal bowls. The silverware bin is a bit awkward and we may remove the lid that holds individual utensils. We like the 3 racks ... but again it is a learning experience to determine how to best use it. Example: ladle doesn't quite fit in the top rack (so it goes into the utensil bin on the bottom l...

All the dishes and glasses are sparkling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a month ago and have been pleased with how clean and sparkly the dishes and glasses look. I am slightly surprised by how long the cycle lasts as my previous dishwasher had a quick clean cycle which took 58 minutes to complete. So helpful when you have guests! My new kitchenaid dishwasher can take 2 plus hours for a normal cycle which means that the best time to run it is at night when nobody needs any plates or glasses....

Best Dishwasher ever

Fine replacement for old machine.

This unit fit the space and wanted front controls since nearly flush with countertop edge. Swap was straightforward, but took afternoon to adapt hoses to new style fittings. New machine washes dishes fine for a couple weeks, still getting used to different feel of new door spring/damper.
