So far great unit. Has more features than I thought. Love that it opens the door automatically when finished.

property damaged during delivery

my property was damaged during delivery and I can not get Lowes to take responsibility for the damaged that was incurred

Quiet, lots of room

love the extra shelf; quiet, ability to set time delay. Replaced handle with curved one that my hip doesn't hit

Get help with instalation.

Instalation instructions are not much use. If you cannot get it to work. If it only gives a flashing light. Look for water in the drip tray. The moisture sensor is not explained in the instructions. I spent 3 hours trying to determine the problem. I looked up on line after my frustration settled. Took the drain tray out dried it. THEN IT STARTED TO WORK. Kitchenaid could include error codes and troubleshooting tips .

Good so far

Good unit so far. I was replacing an older version of basically the same thing. The older one started to leak slightly, but only after some other part replacements, so that might be my fault. The old one also had some plastic parts where the racks attached that were brittle and broke more than once, and those parts seem better on this model. I installed the new one myself, and hopefully KitchenAid reads these. 1: You should ship it with the whole installation manual. All I got was two pages abo...

Dishwasher x3

You haven't really lived until you've had a third rack in your dishwasher. There's the same amount of space on the inside is my old one but it seems so much bigger and there's so much room for everything. The fact that it pops open at the end of the cycle leaves all of the dishes dry. I used to have lots of moisture on my Tupperware but no longer.

Worst Customer Service and Defective Machine

The machine worked for 3 months. Then malfunctioned. I have had a repairman at my house NINE times and they have replaced 5 parts, one part twice and it still does not function properly. Whirlpool/KitchenAid refuses to replace the machine and keeps giving me the run around. This company is terrible and will not uphold their warranty. Do not waste your money and time on ANYTHING Whirlpool or KitchenAid.

I supposed it's possible, but I have yet to put in a dish or a pan that it did not get clean on the normal cycle. The dishes are also always shiny. The fact that the door pops open after the drying cycle means that the dishes are always dry because I typically run it over night. It is also extremely quiet. I have the model with the controls in the front, which I'm glad I got. In that regard...

Poor cleaning

We bought this model recently to replace an older model. Our experience so far has been that it does not clean the dishes. If any food is on the dishes before washing, much of it remains on the dishes when we go to put them away. We are using the recommended soap and are not overloading.
