I think it's ridiculous it didn't come with a power plug. Pay $1,000 for a dishwasher, but it cost too much for them to put a power cord on it? And the Lowes salesman should know that and tell you before you leave the store that you'll have to buy a separate power cord if you want it to run. And the printed installation instructions that came with it were incomplete. But once we managed to get it installed thanks to YouTube it does a great job on the dishes.

Great Functionality and Quiet Operation

While this dishwasher 'feels' cheaper than the 20 year old Kitchenaid unit it replaced, we've loved it so far. The third rack on top is more usable that we anticipated, we appreciate the adjust-ability of the second rack and it operates very quietly and efficiently. You can set it to start up to 24 hours later (so we ensure we get the overnight electricity rates) and everything seems to come our very clean. OMG! What a mess!

I bought this dishwasher because I thought KitchenAid was a good brand. I had it installed on a Friday and the next Wednesday I had enough dishes to run it. It ran for about 5 minutes and then stopped. The lights were still on like it was running but it never sprayed as the dishes were still dry. I reset it several times and even turned of/on the breaker. I think it's defective but they can't do anything because it's up to the service technician to determine that. Super quiet, cleans like a dream, dries dishes completely with no spots on the glass. I was looking at a Bosch, and after talking to the salesman, I'm so glad I chose this KitchenAid. Well worth the money.

Love it

Very well built, does the job well and (nearly) silently. We had a previous iteration of this, with the flat 3rd rack. It was too shallow and mostly in the way so we had just removed it. The 3rd rack on this one is actually useful. The automatic door popper is also a great add-on.

Arrives damaged....two in a row.

Over a month ago we purchased a similar dishwasher from Lowe's and when removing the protective cardboard box we discovered that the back of the dishwasher had been damaged and from the look of the damage it appeared as thought the damage was caused when the unit was moved with a forklift or similar machine. Creases on the outside of the box matched up with the damage to the dishwasher. We returned it and ordered another. It took nearly a month for the second dishwasher to arrive at our local...

Disappointing.

Thought this was going to be so good but it has been a let down. If you don’t scrub all food off the plates it will bake the food on during the drying cycle. Requires you put dishes in that are fully scrubbed of food debris.
