Great toaster worth the price.

No matter the settings you gambled if your bread was toasted or burned. This new unit works every time. And 4 slots make cooking faster. We love the alert when done.

Actually does what you feel it should.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have tried at least three different toasters. None lasted very long and none cooked evenly. We finally woke up and spent a few extra dollars. Wished we would have done that a long time ago. We always knew KitchenAid makes superior products. And this is no different. It cooks very evenly. Settings make toasting accurate. Can not say enough great things about it. KitchenAid is the only products we look for.

When it toasts it has one side darker then the other, and the bread gets tough to cut. 4 slice toaster

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used once to burn off oils. First use in left pair was hot with toast darker than I thought it should be. Since then each use on each side was perfectly toasted. Still early for durability assessment, but I like the results so far. Have not used to toast bagels or frozen items, or to reheat something previously toasted. I would recommend this toaster to anyone looking for a side by side 4 slice toaster. Happy toasting!

No matter what number setting you use, it burns the toast. I am in the process of requesting a refund. The timing mechanism must be defective in this model.
