Good multi cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the multi pot. It’s sautés at a high temperature which is much better than the other pot that I had. The slow cooking settings are fine. The risotto setting is disappointing. Takes a bit to follow how do use the pot but it is ok once you get used to it. My disappointment is that you need the stir tower especially for risotto but you can’t buy the stir tower anymore. If that was available I would’ve given this a much higher rating.

I love this appliance. I just received it and used a lot. It’s great with the stir attachment. Also it’s so beautiful.

Funny smell and screen turns off

I bought the multi cooker recently and used it to cook risotto. The results were great but the process was not smooth. First there was a strong smell of metal coming through right from the beginning when I started the sautée process. I assumed it was new and the smell would go away but please clarify as I’ve used it again and it still smells the same. Versatile and reliable

Tephlon coating

Apparently, the ceramic coating is Teflon although customer service representatives denied it at the time of purchase. Disappointed, as I choose not to use Teflon coated cookware.

Nonstick Issue

We have two of these slow cookers and love the functionality to say the least. I don’t believe we have used either unit more than 3 times. It’s extremely disappointed that the nonstick coating is coming off. Because of the investment and being a aluminum insert with a nonstick coating, we have never used metal utensils and are extremely careful! Now we don’t even want to use the units since we don’t want this costing in our food. Of course the warranty has expired on both units. Not a investmen...

Nice looking multi cooker

I used this for the first time today with the stir tower and I am amazed at how well it cooks and I LOVE the stir tower! I'm so glad I bought this. The Stainless Steel is beautiful.

Large & Cool!

Sadly disappointed

I was very excited to buy the Multi-Cooker and the Stir Tower less than two years ago, but I have used it three times because of a fear of food contamination with a man-made polymer. I had read the reviews that commented about the cooking vessel chipping, but I assumed those people must have used metal tools for stirring or serving. I love my Space Helmet!

I have had this a couple of years. I got both the Multi Cooker and the Stir Tower together. I've used the stir tower TWICE, so that was a waste of money. However, I have used the multi cooker about two times a week on average. I love it for a rice cooker! And I put the steamer basket over the rice as it cooks and it steams my veggies at the same time. I don't like the slow cooker mode so I use the "set the temperature" mode for slow cooking. Yes, the ceramic pot chips. I have polka dots ...

Very interesting appliance

Great Product

I love this product. In fact it cooks rice so PERFECT that I threw my rice cooker out. Truly is versatile and produces great meals. Well worth purchasing. I also purchased the stirrer afterwards. Love it, though the instructions could be more clear, precise and condensed.

chipped ceramic vessel

Hi i bought this on amazon and had such high hopes. i use only kitchen aid silicon utensils with this product to prevent scratching the ceramic pot. Unfortunately the product comes with a metal lid which has scratched up the pot badly. It also comes with a metal steamer basket that scratches up the inside of the pot. This product is no longer functional for me as i don’t like using scratched or knicked cookware for heath reasons. The inside pot needs to be replaced.
